About me

Ibtisam Iqbal

I started writing code as a teenager. An internship arranged through my uncle to learn the basics turned into a full-time job, and I've been shipping production software ever since.

That journey took me from React into React Native, across three companies over the past several years, building cross-platform mobile apps and then full-stack products. Today I'm the sole full-stack developer at Manchester Energy Grants Ltd, a UK logistics and energy-grants platform. I own a React Native iOS app with Swift native modules and background location tracking, a Next.js and Django web portal with RESTful APIs, and the deployment pipelines and OTA updates that keep releases shipping smoothly.

I'm Meta-certified in React Native and JavaScript, and I care about getting the production details right: correctness, security, scale, and maintainability.
